Make, Model & Year: 1984 Wahl Brothers Drag Chassis
Fondly known as: The Wahl
Time spent: Didn't keep track. But it was a lot
Sled cost: I bought the bare chassis for $100
Money spent: I would say around $1000 to$1500
Engine: 1992 Arctic Cat wildcat 700cc . My friend Brad Mulder at Black Ice racing did the motor work. Change the timing and did the port work and shaved the heads. I had Lenny Mumm shave the flywheel.
Intake: 2 40mm Mikuni carburetor
Exhaust: Factory pipes that were cut off and stinger were added by Brad Mulder.
Drivetrain: 23/39 in a factory gear case 8 tooth Polaris drivers
Tunnel/Chassis Modifications: I doubled the top of the tunnel and built the tunnel enclosures. I built the front suspension adjuster. I built the clutch cover.
Suspension: I the chassis was a 118 when I got it. I had to check it over to fit the 121 track and suspension. The suspension had a bad shock. So I found a shock from a parts sled and put it in. I swiss cheesed the suspension to lose weight
Brakes: Arctic cat breaks. The caliber I drilled out to lose weight.
Finish - Paint: Dupli Color Antidize Orange Spray cans from Amazon. I liked the color.
Accessories: Auto Meter tachometer. And I built the seat. I want to have one professional made.
