What was your intended objective when you started the build?

This is my take on what this sled would look like if Yamaha was still building them today.

What motivated you to start your project?

Just love these simple old sleds.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

Paint and graphics

What are you most proud of?

That I painted everything on sled including the red stripes,blackout panel,emblems and bumper and assembled the motor myself with rebuilt crank and 20 over jugs and pistons also recovered the seat myself.

What do other people say about your snowmobile?

That it came out awesome

Snowmobile cost: $150

Money spent: More than I should of!

Engine: Had crank rebuilt with all new bearings including new nos rods 20 thousandth overbore to clean up cylinders then assembled by myself.

Intake: Stock

Exhaust: Stock

Drivetrain: Stock

Tunnel/Chassis Modifications: Stock

Suspension: Torn apart, cleaned then painted,reassembled with new gas shock.

Brakes: Stock

Finish – Paint: hood had typical cracks and chunks missing that I repaired then shot the three colors with rustoleum spray paint.

Accessories: Installed heated grips.
