1975 Yamaha GPX 433

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

We started the build in late October of 2016. The chassis was stripped, motor went to our main sponsor Aaen performance for porting. With the objective to beat the sled we had recently been driving.

What motivated you to start your project?

We formally drove a gpx at eagle River vintage world championship 2 years prior. The sled then got a different driver so we had to build one of our own. The research we did on the old ride directly went into building our machine.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

Everything about the sled is unique. My favorite touches have to be the custom seat, and vintage go-kart tank for slide lube.

What are you most proud of?

I couldnt be any less proud of this machine and the determination we had building, painting, polishing, tunning, fixing at the track. We didn’t beat the sled the old sled but finished 2nd right behind him in sport mod 440 class

What do other people say about your snowmobile?

Well I haven’t herd anything bad about it, besides it looking uncomfortable.lol
