1974 Speedway Blue Max

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To completley restore sled with just a little added Bling

What motivated you to start your project?

This was a dream of mine to restore the sled when I retired. Just retired the end of March

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

Windshields are non existent for this make and model so I fabricated my own!

I also added high temp gold paint to the tips of the fins as its a free air. That coupled with a copious amount of gold plated grade 8 hardare really made the sled pop!

What are you most proud of?

The fact that I finished the sled in two months flat!

Normally a resto lIke this takes six plus months. I worked on this one nights and weekends until it was finished.

What do other people say about your snowmobile?

They love that deep Blue Ultra shiny Metalflake paint

Great machine! Your work looks great!
I don’t suppose you would be interested in selling it?

If not would you have any leads on some other Blue Max?

    Cheers
