1973 Ski Doo Olympique

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To restore it to almost like it was new and keep it as original as possible

What motivated you to start your project?

It sat out in the yard covered up for the last 15 years It was my grandpas old sled he used to go back and forth to his spear shack and him and grandma went for rides and was the first sled I learned to ride on when I was little and decided it deserved to be brought back to life

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

Wrapped the seat myself and stripped it down and preped and painted it got everything in working order

What are you most proud of?

The fact that it was my grandpas and it deserved to be resurrected and the fact it sat for 15 years and all I did was clean the fuel tank and put fresh gas in and it fired right up and hasn’t skipped a beat yet and neither has the 15+ year old battery

What do other people say about your snowmobile?

That it’s amazing and I did a great job restoring it while still keeping it original as possible
