What was your intended objective when you started the build?
I really wanted to bring back to life, what I think is the baddest sled of all time.
What motivated you to start your project?
It started with seeing the chassis hanging on the wall of a barn I was buying sled parts in. When I saw the chassis I bought it and immediately started looking for all the pieces to put it back to what it should have been.
What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?
The most creative thing I did to the sled was the engine. I shoehorned a 500cc spirit free air with 1975 arctic cat z exhaust pipes into the sled.
What are you most proud of?
I’m most proud that all the paint on the sled is original.
What do other people say about your sled?
At the vintage shows, the people who know what it is, love seeing an old race sled that looks this original.
