1968 Ski Doo 247 F/A

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

I figured why not build something that’s one of a kind. Useless, loud, and slow but one of a kind.

What motivated you to start your project?

I was sitting in the garage drinking a few ice cold Busch Lights when I looked over and seen a engine I had bought at a swap meet.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

The most unique part of the build is the 247 F/A engine that Ski Doo never built. However lucky for me a guy named Phil did and he happened to be selling said engine at a swap meet in St. Germain Wi.

What are you most proud of?

Im most proud to show people you don’t have to spend a ton of money to build a snowmobile that will turn heads when you take it out to a event.

What do other people say about your sled?

people love stopping and looking at the sled trying to figure it out. Everyone loves the rare Super Olympic dual Tillotson carbs from 1966. Most will ask me “why?” I respond with why not?!
