What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To have a sled that always reminded me of my Grandpa.

What motivated you to start your project?

This is the same year and model sled my Grandpa had and taught me to ride on.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

New track.

What are you most proud of?

I keep the sled spotless all year round.  I absolutely enot just looking at it.

What do other people say about your snowmobile?

“Why do you have a snowmobile in your house?”  AND…”that is really cool”.

Engine: 297 Rockwell JLO
Intake: Tillotson Carb.
Exhaust: Stock Fox Track muffler.
Drivetrain: Stock drivetrain. All restored.
Tunnel/Chassis Modifications: All stock. Every thing repainted the original Fox Trac orange as color matched at the body shop the work was done at.
Suspension: Stock bogie wheel and leaf springs. AL restored.
Brakes: Stock friction brakes.
Finish – Paint: Color matched from the factory color and painted at a body shop after much massaging to make sure it was all straight.
Accessories: The front bumper is not original to the sled but is a perfect fit and looks excellent on the snowmobile .
