Ski-Whiz Snowmobile Parts
Back in the 1960’s, it felt like everyone was jumping in on the new snowmobile industry. Sears and Harley are two surprising and notable competitors. Another that you might have heard of was Massey-Ferguson. Traditionally, they manufactured farm equipment. But when they saw this new opportunity, they had to jump on it. Massey-Ferguson first entered the industry in 1969, introducing the Ski-Whiz. These sleds had a unique, one of a kind look, and they even had the option of electric start. Electric start might be commonplace nowadays, but Ski Whiz snowmobiles are definitely not. They were discontinued in 1977, and have been slowly aging to vintage status ever since. But, the time has come! As the sleds reach over 40 years old, we are proud to say that the vintage snowmobile industry is growing every year, with the Ski-Whiz standing proud amongst their ranks. Here at Dennis Kirk, we have a real appreciation for vintage sleds. That’s why we’ve done our best to stock Ski-Whiz parts and accessories for you to put to good use. When it comes to vintage sleds, they all age differently. This is largely in part because they all see very different conditions throughout their long life. Some sit in a garage, neatly covered. Some are ridden each and every year, and are cared for. Many are not so lucky. You’ll find them behind sheds, in the back corner of crumbling barns, buried in storage units in a pile of parts. And with this wide range of storage conditions, comes an even wider range of ailments that are keeping your snowmobile from running.
Once you’ve found what you need, place your order! Our team will have your order out the same day it’s placed, well on its way to you and your vintage sled. Thank you for shopping at Dennis Kirk, good luck with your sled rebuild!
