This steel chrome grill accomplishes the task of turning the ugly or, at best, distracting Honda radiator into a styling asset. The added chrome in the engine compartment is beautiful and makes the rest of the chrome on the bike pop out. The steel construction is heavier than the plastic OEM piece, but the heft feels good and the build quality is very good. I have two disappointments. First, I had to "dremel" out a portion of the cover to make adequate room for the lower radiator hose. It just didn't all fit together as stock, and eventually the sharp edge of the grill could have cut the hose (I also crafted a rubber "bushing" to protect the hose from the edge, even after I opened up space for the hose). Also, in handling the grill for this project, I caused the chrome to start flaking up in a couple of places. These are discrete locations and I'll probably seal them up with clear nail polish, but I was not happy to see chrome flaking on a new steel piece like this. But, overall, the look is great.
