I installed on my 1993 Goldwing Apspencade. This is the quietest tire I have every had I my bike and the performance in the curves is outstanding. I was told you cannot install on my bike but after researching the Gl1800 which uses radial tires has the same wheelbase, and rake and trail vitually the same so I decided to go with the radials. I replaced Dunlop Elite 3's. Will review again after I get a few thousand miles on these tires.
What can i say. Radials. For the money these tires are hard to beat. I got over 7,000 miles on these tires on a vtx1800 always riding 2up, mostly curvy roads and long trips. Even had 1,000 left on the front tire. Traction is good and never had a problem on wet roads, and been in plenty down pours.
Have a 2008 Kawasaki Nomad 1600. Have replaced the OE 170/70/16 with Bridgestones and a Metzler. For half the price this tires did as well not only that they lasted longer. 70 percent of my riding is around town 25 percent highway use. Will purchase the Journey Touring 180/70/16 again
it took over a thousand miles to break this tire in. it will break loose in a light mist on the road, althou its not to bad in a full wet condition. wear seems reasonable thou i have only got 3500 miles in on it.
I bought a pair of these tires for my 2015 F6B Deluxe to replace the original Bridgestones that had about 10,000 miles on them. These Shinkos are the worst motorcycle tires I've ever bought. Not good on even slightly grooved pavement and the tar snakes are like black ice,way worse the Bridgestones or any other tires I've had on other bikes. I should have spent the extra $$$$ for Bridgestones or something else. I will not be buying another set or recommending them. Sorry Shinko,no dice.
