Good price, low miles
Vulcan 900 LT - Tried two tires, both got about 5.000 miles. Less than half for other brands. Dunlap being the exception. The second one took over an ounce and a half to balance.

Great All Around Touring Tire
These were the tires that the PO had on the bike and he swore they were the best. After riding in rain for 8 hours on mountain roads I would have to agree. Good mileage ( I get about 10,000 miles on them but I ride a K75 so its only about 70 HP). Price is great. Traction wet and dry is great.

My buddy rides a V Max and has tried all the latest and greatest tires but he always comes back to these. Last tire he had was a big buck Metzler. When he cracked the throttle is spun and smoked. With the Tourmaster he cracks the throttle and pulls the front wheel. Try them. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Great Buy
Shinko tires are a great brand andThey are the only tires I'll buy for my motorcycle. They get great mileage and ride smooth. Best decision I've ever made on buying motorcycle tires, front and rear.

Shinko is best price\performance tour tire for my ZL600!
Just replaced my this same tire after 10 years and 16K miles. Still had legal tread but I dont like riding on tires older than 10 years. Best price for tour tire on my 1997 ZL 600. Amazing grip\handle\wear all weather. And Dennis Kirk has best price and fantastic ship time!

Shinko Tourmaster 230
Good tire value. Will not get quite the wear of the more costly tires, but unless you are putting mega miles on you will like the Tourmaster 230. Nice tires for half the cost of other brands.

Best Value
This tire has the best performance for its price. It performs as well as more expensive tires without breaking the bank.

Mixed about Shinko tires on my Vulcan 900
I go through tires. Two sets of Dunlaps, two sets of Pirelli's and a set of Metzlers. Though I'd try Shinko's this time because the price was right. After 3000 miles, the front has about 25% wear and the back is about 35%. They balanced with less than an ounce and seem to be still round and true with no observable cupping. The front tire is rubbing the finder just a tiny bit. Measured the distance between rim and the tire sidewall and found the right side expanded out about 2.5mm wider then the left side. Not sure if it's and issue, but will probably change back to Metzlers before the next long cross country ride.

not sure if this tire is rite for my bike I have a 2005 Yamaha 650 Silverado classic the tire size is 130-90-16 will it work and be a good tire for the wife and I to ride local for the most part???
A shopper on Apr 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi it looks like it is the right size but check with the folks at DK to be sure. I am running Shinkos front and back on my GL1200 - very good tire value. Good handling, quiet and good in the rain if you get caught. The Shinko is a softer rubber compound, you won't get quite the mileage out of them as a Dunlop or other "brand" names....but for the money if your riding is just around town I think you will be quite pleased. Just my opinion though............
what type of milage does this tire get?
A shopper on Nov 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Mileage is dependent on riding style, proper air pressure and load. It is difficult to give an actual mileage assessment without using the tire and in differing forms.
