I bought these last year and the are holding up great they look good and are comfortable enough I use them as a second pair of shoes when I need to. Haven't had to test the durabiltiy or abrassion resistence yet thank god. the fit is true to size also.
These shoes fell great, the only thing that bothered me was that if you are not wearing high socks that it will rub a little on your ankle. Other than that these shoes are comfortable, stylish, and protective. And the price is great for the whole package.
Never really rode street bikes I myself was more into motocross. But will be purchasing a street bike soon. And didn't really know what to look for in a boot? Well I stumbled on these. I looked into them and decided to get them. I am currently wearing them they are so comfortable. They wear like a tennis shoe, but have they padding for the street. I recommend these for anyone. Shift really came threw with these boots, the price is not bad considering they feel like a street bike/tennis shoe combo. The sizing in pretty much dead on I wear 9 1/2 to 10 and the 10 fits perfect. I highly recommend these.
Although I have not been able to thoroughly break these in yet, I really enjoy these shoes. They are just stiff enough to offer the proper support, the rub/wear areas are great, I believe they are great looking (I would wear them off the bike all day), and they are easy to put on. The only reason I gave comfort 4/5 stars if I feel they could be just an inch or so taller - if you wear short socks with these your heal may get a bit chilly. However, on those hot day, I may enjoy that part... just not sure yet. I believe these are perfect riding shoes and will enjoy them for some time. I would suggest these to anyone.
I got these last season & they are great for summer riding, especially if you are going to be walking around or working too. Very comfortable all around and seem to hold up well so far although I'd get black next time as they scuff easy!
These shoes look great, and are exactly what i wanted. What I didnt want, is for the rubber pieces on the toe area to rip off the second ride, and more every ride since then. In fact, I contacted Fox Racing about it, and they pretty much sent me a form email explaining their return policy which is for unused merchandise ONLY. Not junk they slap their name on and distribute to retailers to deal with. My only recourse is to return them to Dennis Kirk, and of course, pay shipping, and be without the riding shoes for at least a week. Not gonna happen. I gave Fox a chance to fix it, they blew me off. it shouldnt lie on dennis kirk.
So... if you want a shoe that works fine but looks like you got it at the salvation army after the second ride... buy these. the enclosed picture is after the second ride. now, at least half of the rubber pads are missing.
