While the product itself and price were fine, this did not fit my bike as indicated. The smallest spread for the mounting holes it will accept is 7 inches. The space on my bike was 5 inches. If you decide to purchase this product please be aware of that fact. I am returning mine for a refund as I found another product elsewhere that worked for my bike.
The brackets fit perfect on my 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 classic. The only thing I was not happy with was that no bushings came with the brackets. I went to the hardware store bought 4 bushings for fifty cents a peice, mounted the brackets and they fit perfect.
Error on my part. Description states Universal but are universal only for METRIC bikes....I didn't read the full details. Had to return them as they would not work on my sportster. Loved the price just wouldn't work for me and I couldn't wait for an exchange
Bolts not long enough for Suzuki Volusia. I had to go to the parts store to buy bolts/washers long enough at an additional cost of about $10. If your fender supports are less than 1.5' you should be OK.
I searched high and low for saddlebag supports for my fairly rare Honda Shadow. There were no aftermarket ones specific to it, so I tried these. Because of the design of the bike, these supports just could not fit. The hinge at the rear of the support, which pivots to accommodate many bikes, looked weak enough to be prone to rust and breakage.

It's a good thing the bags cover the bracket because the bracket is nothing to look at. Worked great with the Star bags and has held up fine. Best price I found. I will take them off when the bags come off. Easy bolt on just needed longer bolts for the front since the Cobra backrest came with the longer bolts.
They're inexpensive, you can't see them when bags are on, but they didn't fit under my chrome accents which extended beyond where the bags were. Still, they serve their purpose, fit well with chrome accents off, had a variety of hardware for different fitments.
I have a 2007 Victory Jackpot. This is the only brack that I could find that fit and it barely does. I had to buy several washers to use as spacers but it came with bolts of a perfect length. The only thing about it that is less than favorable is that it rubs the bags alot where the joints are which you can't really get away from on a universal mount. I use a bit of rubber for cushion. They look fine with the bags off.
It fit fine, after a little work. There was a large (about 3/8") glob of metal near the mounting hole. This prevented the support from fitting flush against the fender. After a session with Mr. Dremel, the support finally fits. My large (not Jumbo, though) Saddlemen bags fit great. At half the cost of the supports on the Kawasaki site, this is a terrific value!
This universal kit does the job for keeping the saddlebags off the bike, but by no means is a perfect fit. Most kits outline the actual size of the bag, these are much smaller.Hence, I could not use the tie downs from the bags to tie to the kit.....I had to do some modifications.....overall, with some modifications it did the job....and price point not too bad
I had to run to the parts store to get longer hardware for my 08 Vulcan 2000 Classic. The supplied hardware are hex head bolts so they do no look no where as good as the factory bolts. They supplied 2 different size bolts and 2 different lengths of the 2 different sizes. Also had to bend the bracket to fit my frame rails. Long story short, they will do the job if $$$ is an issue but if not get a set made for your bike.
The left side support did not work because my 99 Aero has a helmet lock which is bolted under the fender. This helmet lock prevents mounting of the left side support. I do not own the proper tools to take the wheel off to remove the helmet lock. Therefore, I only am using half of what I purchased. The supports are small, and in my opinion do not offer the proper support to be used to attach to my saddlebags.
