Saddlemen should either stick to their cruiser line of aftermarket seats, or spend a little more R&D time when designing seats for sportbikes. Maybe it's because I have always had Corbin or Sargent seats...and now I know why. Because they fit right. The passenger seat of the Saddlemen Track doesn't even sit flush with the rear cowl. There is also a big gap between the seat and the gas tank. The seat looks decent with the rear cowl on, but it does raise it up (due to the poor fit of the rear portion of the seat). The seat is also narrower than stock...which would benefit riders with smaller inseams. Like the Corbin, it does sit the rider back a bit further than the stocker or the Sargent, which unfortunately doesn't work for me, so it's going to likely get sold. Oh well...I had to find out the hard way.
Bought to replace 09 ZX14 piece. The gap between rear seat cowl and body work is now too large and rear hook does not click into loop on seat. Bought seat in winter. Since then the price has gone down. But since I have had it more than 1 month D.K. won't honor difference. Thinking of returning. Looks great, but not a great fit.
