Sexy and oozing quality, but some issues.
I've owned and loved Mustang seats, and thought they were the benchmark for quality. They are still amazing, but Saddlemen has passed them on quality. From unboxing this thing and finding it very securely nestled in custom fit foam to protect the seat during shipping (unlike my Mustang seat that was flopping around in a smashed Mustang box with no padding of any kind to protect it), to the flush riveted (vs stapled stock) under carriage of the seat, to the immaculate stitching, this thing screams "Made with pride in the USA". No dings for this seat on this front at all. This thing is just dead right sexy sitting on my 2019 Road Glide, and oozes quality, and dare I say, Luxury appeal?

The rider backrest is easy to put in place, and contrary to some reviews I've seen, doesn't flop around like a fish. (Tighten the swivel bolts up people ;) and I like that it has a little cargo pocket on the back of it. If you are riding 2 up, it makes for a good phone/chapstick holder etc for the passenger, and if you're riding solo, it makes a good place for a compact MC toolkit.

Now the con side. It does sit you up 2-3 inches higher than stock, which I'm not a fan of. It raised me up enough that my prior "maybe I'll get a little taller bars" is no longer an option. I will definitely need taller bars now, so that I'm not hunching over and causing neck/shoulder fatigue.

This one may be premature since the seat isn't broken in yet, but damn it is really firm. I'm really hopeful it softens up at least a smidge, as so far my backside thinks that maybe somewhere between the stock seat squishiness, and this things almost church bench feel, would really be the sweet spot. (Mustang anyone?).

The seat is also narrower in the neck than stock, probably to compensate for being taller, so you can still get your feet on the ground. The downside to this, is that portions of the tank and side covers that the stock seat was rubbing on, are now exposed. It should hopefully buff out *crossing fingers*, but be aware you will have that to contend with as well.

Would I buy it again? Mmm, I'm not completely sure. I love the quality, I like that it doesn't push me forward like the Mustang I tried, but I wish it didn't raise you up and was a smidge softer. The jury is out still until it's broken in, but really I just can't say enough about the quality and great looks of the seat!
