Way better than stock

looks and feels lick a real motorcycle. The "saddle" i had from the factory was not cutting it.

Nice Seat

I wanted a smaller, narrower & cleaner looking seat for my Road Star & this one fit-the-bill. Nice design & fit-n-finish. Easy install & very comfortable for my skinny butt. I also removed the rear seat and may add a smaller and cleaner looking one later. For now "Solo" means "By My Self."

Fits my butt!

So far liking the seat. Fits my butt good. Pushes me forward more than stock, which is good for my short legs and arms. Haven't put it through it's paces yet. Need to take a long ride to get a real opinion of the seat. It's a bit on the firm side, I'm hoping it breaks in well and the gel inside helps to extend my riding time. Will report back if my opinion changes. The only problem that I encounter was the rear mount was too high to go under the catch. I drilled out the rivets, put a couple washers under the mount, put some bolt anchors in and it fit like an OEM seat.

Saddlemen Renegade Solo on Roadstar

After the great cust svc at Dennis Kirk replaced the first one for manufacturing flaws (made on a friday?) the second appears to be fine as made. - 3 stars for fit, as it hits my oil filler cap and pushes the seat sideways, which I will have to create a shim to avoid. - Comfort is firm, almost hard, but softens over time and I love a firm seat. The horn could stand to be skinnier - Style is great! - The seat negates almost all bad vibration and keeps that big bike feel of power, without feeling like you sit on a feather pillow. - As it softens your seating position can be changed without affecting comfort, but initially you'll have to break it in before you can do more than sit straight up, unless you have more padding than my 200lb 6'2 frame, in which case you prob want a bigger seat anyhow. Good value over all, just wish they paid more attention to the curves under the seat that hit the equipment all roadstars come with.
