The style looks good, but I found the lid is hindged to low, with a sissy bar on, when opening it it hits my medium sissybar and indents the top of the bag it is starting to show that extra stress on the material of the lid of the bag, they should have hindged it at the top of the bag, also it sags on the sides that over hang My two up rack, not bad, but it does, if You are looking for those real crisp lines without sag, You might be a little disapointed, I maybe a little to criticle, dont get Me wrong, the bag looks good on My bike, I would buy it again, there is just room for improvement on it. Hope this helps
Nice looking bag, good quality. The sissy bar "mount" consists of a narrow strap on the back of the bag which is low on the bag. The strap fits at the bottom of the sissy bar and slides below the back rest into an open space where the bar angles. It does not strap on very well this way. A wider strap, higher on the back of the bag which would fit around the back rest would be better. I have another Saddlemen bag that fits the sissy bar better. This bag can be bungee corded from the bottom. Nice looking bag though-would like it if it were uglier but mounted better.
I love the look of this tail bag/trunk. However, now that I have it, the mounting options are not that great. The strap on the back is supposed to wrap around your sissy bar but its either not long enough or my stock sissy bar pad is larger than they planned for. So this strap is useless. The only other option is four metal rings (2 front and 2 back) and two really cheesy straps to attempt to mount it to your luggage rack. Needless to say, not very useful or versatile mounting options. Additionally, the bag is not stiff enough. If your luggage rack is not the same size as the bag bottom, it will sag. Especially if it gets hot in the sun. I gave it a 3 overall rating because I do like the looks of the bag. And I suppose if you had a huge luggage rack to support the bottom and a really small pad on your sissy bar everything would be fine. I guess I'll have to fabricate a solution since I own the bag now. My Iron Rider bags are much better quality and more versatile by far.
This is a nice bag with lots of room but try and mount it on your rack and sissy bar. It is a joke to say the least and they have replaced the bungee cords with nylon straps. Be prepared to spend lots of unneeded time when you attach and take this bag on and off. Also very difficult to open when mounted on rack. It is so wide it sags on the ends when on the rack - could use a stiffener in the bottom. Returned mine for another model.
