Do the cases have to be bored on a 96cui ?
Shovel79 on Aug 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: if you have a twin cam engine and you want to install the 117 kit you will need to get your cases bored. I did this kit on my bike. I only have 500 miles on it so far and I love it. since you will have to bore the cases I would get the crank looked at also. mine was out .007 on cam shaft side and .008 on compensator side it could not be fixed I had to buy a new crank shaft. but it was well worth the new crank from darkhorse do not go with a stock Harley crank
