Improved steering & tracking

I installed these on my daughters Ski-Doo Skandic 500 where they replaced a set of worn wear bars. Made a huge difference in tracking and the turning radius. (Improved both obviously - I went with the shortest carbide too.) Downsides? Switching to carbides from non-carbides means you need to protect your trailer, driveway, shop floor etc. (Bust most sleds today have carbide anyway, so it isn't a big deal.) Fit was a bit of an issue. Both runners didn't line up with the holes in the ski and were off about 1/8" - 1/4". It wasn't a big deal and I put the nut on the threaded stud and tapped it with a big hammer in the direction it needed to go. That fixed it.

good purchase

its very good because it handles great and its cheap.instead of buying the real expensive carbites and wasting your money dont spend as much and these work just as good and dont wear down that much either.
