Not best quality
I bought this based on the few reviews posted last March. The starter arrived promptly, fit and finish were fine. Starter worked great for a year, and is now dead, just out of warranty, it lasted 16 months.I wouldn't recommend this item to a friend.
great service and great qualityI would recommend this item to a friend.
I purchased this product and was amazed first of all at the price and second that it was in my hand within 24 hours and no frieght charge. It was my first buy from here but will be buying much more in the future.I would recommend this item to a friend.

Best value in motorcycle starters
Bought a Rick's Motorsports stater for a 99Vstar 1100 for 1/3 the cost of the Yamaha dealer. Shipped for free arrived on time fit like OEM. Shipped with cable to relay but was 2" too short compared to original. This is not an issue since the dealer starter does not include this cable I considered it a bonus. I simply reused the old cable. The new starter worked fine initially but reverted back to the original problem. Push start button, relay clicks, starter silent. Contacted Dennis Kirk they gave me phone # for Rick's who gave me return instructions They would test it, if bad replace if good return. They were both courteous and helpful. Just to be sure I took the old starter to an auto electrical shop and it tested good. Turns out relay was bad, just because it clicks don't mean its working. Moral always check relay first before replacing starter. Bypass relay and don't be timid about initial sparksI would recommend this item to a friend.
worked excellent on my 1980 honda goldwing, would recommend this product to anyoneI would recommend this item to a friend.
