I hope I'm the only one who had this problem

We installed the matching rotor, stator, brushes and rectifier in out 82 Honda cb900 It was recommended to us to replace all components with the age of the bike and it not charging properly. After replacing all components with parts from Dennis Kirk which were made by ricks electric the bike would still not charge. It turned out to be a bad out of the box rectifier because when we plugged the old one back in it charged the system just fine. 6 months down the road and not too many miles the contact surface on the rotor flaked apart and ate the brushes which destroyed the rest of the charging system and required the entire charging system be replaced once again to the tune of $450(ish) So I'm not very happy with the quality of some of these aftermarket parts.
