Anytime you use other than the standard front/rear sprocket sizes, clearance must be checked
This is a great product to use since it is light weight and pretty easy to install. The problem that I had though is that it only last for so many rides before it started to wear down and the chain started to deform it due to it being aluminum. That is a great product if you are looking to keep it light and change it more often but if you want to not change your sprocket after so many rides look into getting a full steel sprocket to last longer.
