This is the second Kenda Kruz rear tire I have purchased for my 2006 Kawasaki Concours. It is one size oversized which I like. Although it is not as "sporty" feeling as the radial tires, I was looking for more wear factor and it performed quite nicely. The radial tires (different brand) would only last about 4500 miles at the most. I am climbing up on 7500 miles with about 2/32's left on the center of the tire. It is pretty smooth in the center of the tread and needs to be changed. As I don't need to be in radical "sports mode" - meaning trying to scrape the footpegs all the time, I am satisfied with the performance. Consider the fact that it is about 60% of the price of the radial tire!! Good buy!
I put the Kenda's on my 1600 Road Star to up the load rating over the stock tires. I was a little worried the added belts and strengthening would make for a stiff ride. My wife and I have hardly gotten off the bike since I put them on ! Smooth ride, great cornering even with the big bike, and like my wife says, the load rating is high enough we could take 2 more folks even heavier than WE ARE! Stickomatic
