Put these on my RMK last year to do a little trail riding in MN..easy to install and worked GREAT. Lasted approx. 1,700-2,000 miles before needing to be replaced. I don't ride in marginal snow so I'm sure that helped them to last. Hyfaxes show minimal wear and it keeps the sled cool. Running a 1 3/4 paddle track besides! Greeat product.
I purchased these ice scratcher replacements for my 2011 Yamaha Vector LTX. They fit just like the Yamaha version I was replacing. Perfect fit. Have not had a chance to try them riding, as the snow is now gone. Next year I guess :(
My 97 grand touring skidoo would always warm up unless it got plenty of snow on the coil under the tunnel. The analog temperature gauge made it obvious. No snow, too hot. Little snow, little warm. I ride in Canada thru MN, mostly small trail rides or fishing. When I am not in snow that is topped with two inches of soft snow, I throw these out and it keeps my sleds cool. I got about 400 miles on the first set. I damaged / bent / weakened them the three times I backed up. Riding the fields in southern mn is tough on them as you hit frozen dirt piles and lots of ice, raiload rails and wooden bridges . . . after being weakened, these trails break them for me.
