do-dad switch
installed on 96 Honda XR250L street legal Enduro. Headlight is on with ignition on this model which is a heavy load on battery when not running. Do-Dad switch allowed me to switch headlight off when starting motor. Easy to install next to left handlebar switch. I connected switch's wiring into wiring loom coming out of handlebar switch. Almost looks like factory installation. The toggle switch is a little flimsy looking, but should work okay. Took me about 40 minute to install.

How many wires are attached to this switch? All of the stock photos show only 2 wires but to work as advertised, it should have 3. thanks

BEST ANSWER: Not sure if the functional description is as accurate as it could be. This is a basic on/off switch and has only two wires. To be able to turn one thing off and another on would require the use of a correct type of relay.
