Overview of Pirelli Sport Demon Tire

  • Increased tread depth increases tire life - sport compound maximizes wet and dry grip
  • Front tires central sine wave groove and special profile improve handling and provide excellent water evacuation

Sticky but wears fast
I have really liked the Sport Demons front & rear. But you need to realize these are a trade off. Rear is shot, I mean bald after less than 5,000 miles. I commute daily and love to corner. The SD's stick really well in turns and the wet. I do not do burn-outs. The SD's stick well but just haven't lasted as well. A trade-off. But I wanted sticky tires for my 2006 XL1200R.

Great for ninja 250
Can't find a better tire for this bike, combines ultimate grip while also lasting longer than you would think. I used to get really cheap tires for it, never again. Well worth a quality tire.

Sport Demons
Great bias ply tire in the dry and wet! On my Moto Guzzi V7 Classic, I usually get 7-8K miles on the rear tire, and well over 10k on the front.

Works great on my Suzuki Katana 1100
My "92 Katana 1100 has " 16 tires front & back , so I'm limited in selection , but there are good choices , and The Sport Demons are good ones , The handle neutrally , and don't follow the rain grooves or spots where they patch ed the road .. they just float right over them like there not there ! They fall into corners predictably and at speed there as steady as a rock ..I just put them on so I can't say for how long they'll last .. the Kat's a big powerful heavy bike ; but these tires make it handle like it's 100 pounds lighter .. !

Good sticky tire, comes in 18"
I have an FZR600 with an 18" rear wheel. It's hard to find 18" tires anyway, but the Sport Demon does an admirable job. I rode it hard on the track for two straight days, it never lost grip, and the wear was minimal.

I was initially concerned that it is not a radial tire, but I can't tell the difference.

The price is definitely right. This is a track-worthy tire at a budget price.

Excellent Tires
I probably should'nt write this review or else they may be out of stock for my next purchase. I have been very happy with the Pirelli Sport Demon tires I purchased last spring. So much so that when I had to replace the rear, I just bought another one. I rode 10,000+ miles last summer and just replaced the rear tire at the end of the season. I expect to get double that on the front tire. These things have confidence inspiring grip, either on dry or wet pavement. Also the ride is smoother than the Bridestones I had previously. I will continue to buy these as long as Pirelli makes them, or I finally kill my 1992 Nighthawk, which ever comes first.

Not bad at all
I bought this tire about a year ago. Great tire. I saw alot of people saying they only got 5,000 miles off of it. I put it on the back of my 1984 honda Interceptor 700 and it got about 8-9,000 miles basically until i saw cords. Even better front tire.
