Transforms bike's performance & a great value!
I have just bought this tire a SECOND time! It absolutely transformed the performance of my HD Breakout - much quicker, easier, and more precise turning than the stock Dunlop tire. It's also a great value at Dennis Kirk's price for it.

Its tread life is not great, but then NO tire has been found to have a great tread life on the Breakout, due to the bike's weight (735 lb) and torque ( my Breakout has the HD Stage 4 kit that raises power by 55%). I got about 3500 to 3700 miles on my last Pirelli 1682600, which is pretty much exactly the miles I got on the stock Dunlop that performed so poorly in comparison. The extreme Austin, Texas heat is also a big contributor to lower tread life on motorcycle tires around here.

Best Price/Value
Bought this tire on the review of other Stryker owner and seemed best value. Price was best around and it shipped quickly. Had installed and profile looks GREAT on bike.Seemed to handle much better than stock tire. Time will tell on wear.

diablo 240 on vrod
This tire out performs any tires i have had. Better than the real avon.
the tire does everything but i don't assume it is going to have high miles. I would rather enjoy the performance than just have it on the bike a long time. The grip of this tire is amazing feels like it is glued to the road, can't stop leaning my vrod over and not worrying about accelerating in/out of corners, what a ball. Feels like the avon python i used to have on my previous vrods, but with oodles of grip., this diablo has all of the performance plus amazing grip and it is a real W speed rating other 240's are not, it seems to stay very round. Next tire will be this brand and model.

They work better
Have a honda PCX150 these tires make a huge difference. Superior cornering and a very noticeable difference in cross winds excellent tracking. Worth the difference in the $$$.

Hi , when you arrive pirelli 240 40 18?

BEST ANSWER: If you are asking when they will again have it in stock, you need to call Dennis Kirk sales department, not post the question here. By the way, this tire is FANTASTIC in both overall performance and traction under all reasonable conditions (I have never had it slip), and it is also very light in weight - only about 16.5 lb, so made my Harley feel like it "lost a cement overshoe"! BUT, also be aware that it wears very quickly. On my souped up Harley (107 rwhp and 735 lb), it lasts under 4000 miles, although I do tend to replace early (1/16" minimum tread left) for safety reasons. Best motorcycle tire I have ever found, and the price is very reasonable compared to many other choices.
What can I expect for realistic mileage before I'd have to replace it?

BEST ANSWER: I've heard one person say 3k. I've just gotten over 2k it still looks good I'm good for at least another 2 and re-evaluate. The tire feels good I've been riding in some wet and cold conditions. For the price it's worth for whatever mileage!!
