Bought this choke cable for my 2001 Polaris Sport Touring Snowmobile. It was everything promised. The only thing I would caution about is making sure cable ends are inserted into the case before attempting adjustments. Other than that installation was simple. Saved almost half of what Polaris wanted for the Choke Cable Assembly.
I bought this because it is half the price as an OEM Polaris cable. I was a bit disappointed with the length of the cable because I had JUST barely enough to extend to the carbuerators but made it work. The quality of the product is just as good as OEM though
I bought this for my 95 Polaris Indy 440 Trail and it was about 10 inches too short. The good thing is I only needed the little box up near the fire wall.......so I was able to take it apart and use my old parts. BUt if you need the whole thing, its way too short.
Pushed the plug into the housing with my fingers and a piece of the housing broke off. I was assembling it in a heated garage so it was not cold and brittle. I managed to use the housing from my old choke cable assembly so I did not return it.
The plastic broke the second time I flipped the lever. Called to find out how to get it replaced on a Saturday. Was told there was nothing they could do I had to call back on Monday. Not great customer service at all.
