I have used many other track clip tools in the past and have broke them all in a short time. This one has stayed together for several tracks. The wide and narrow bending blocks are a bonus. I would not use an impact gun on this tool. I did use a 3/8 air ratchet and that worked well.
i bought this track clip tool last year....(as a spare)finally needed to use it today..my old one finally broke after years of use...I installed about 10 track clips useing a hand rachet (no impact) and the threads binded on it inside.....now i will not be able to finish this sled for my buddy....not very happy with this tool for the cost of it.....plus i will have to see if i can get a new one. and will have to wait for it......:(
