Received the dry charged battery in perfect condition, everything was there just like an original factory one, less the battery acid of course. Added some electrolyte and charged slowly overnight, installed the next day and was back on the road again with my Kawasaki GPZ 550. DK is the place to shop for parts, accessories and apparel. Nice fit.Took and held a charge.Way cheaper than Honda plus it fits! Other part suppliers claim to sell this strangely shaped battery, and missed it by a mile.. Now we'll see if it still spits fire in the spring!
This battery looks good right out of the box it fits and holds a charge what more can you ask for i will have to see how long it lasts. The only down side is that you need to go to the autoparts store and get acid but at $4 a bottle you still can't beat the price
My fault I did not read everything. I have never bought a cycle or ATV battery that did not include elecrtolyte (started riding in 1973). Took two trips before I found someone to fill to fill it. Of course, that wasn't free.
I purchased battery thinking acid came with it. I had to go to a parts store and spend $17 for acid Filled battery with acid and charged. I started to put the battery on and discovered it didn't fit. I put information about my motorcycle. I assumed I had received the right battery.
First one came cracked. The second one was ok; worked for a couple of years, and was replaced. Gel batteries are better; less hassle. Regardless, I recommend buying a battery tender if you store your bike over winter.
