needed something to go with some other bulbs i bought so i could justify spending 7 or so on shipping and i was not disappointed these are really bright on a high-beam... plus low beam is about normal so you don't get pulled over for blinding people at night. with 80+ watts
along with my standard headlight i built a bracket to hold a pro-comp 55 driving light for the Really wide beam at about a hundred feet out its 10Ft tall and At least 5-6Lanes in width...as i can perfectly see the guard rails and such from the fast lane on a 4 lane freeway
the benefit is during the day they see you better as its to bright to miss during the day( ca legally allows you to run in high bean during the day so drivers can see you better)
very nice for 5 bucks definitely try em out
just be careful as i am certain they put off a bit more heat in high bean and could possibly ruin you're reflector if you're not careful... especially the cheap ones...
High beam much brighter then stock. I can see much more of the road at night. Which is to be expected when higher wattage then stock. Low beam about the same. Typically I get about a year out of the bulb and I run on my high beams during the day time. I will still have the low beam to get home at night when the high beam gives out. And I will not irritate anybody. I am careful to not keep the high beams on when meeting on coming traffic at night. I do not want to irritate anybody. Remember not street legal in most states.
