Overview of NGK Spark Plug - DR8ES

  • NGKs wide heat range results from using copper wire in place of the iron cores found in many conventional plugs
  • Copper dissipates heat quicker, cooling the electrode and insulator tip

what is the difference in the DR8ES & DR8ES-L?
Jewell L on Sep 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: My understanding is that the L designation means it is a half heat range hotter plug than the DR8ES.
I use these in my 1973 Honda CB350 Four.
