Great Cover, Great Quality, Great Investment at a Reasonable Cost.
Several years ago I purchased a used bike and It came with a Nelson-Riggs cover. I was impressed with the Quality and Construction. I have just purchased a new Freewheeler and to protect it I purchased a Nelson-Riggs cover. Other than it being a (knowing this) universal fit I am totally satisfied.
Excellent quality, the price is right (a real bargain). The only problem we had is that it is very tight fit on our Yamaha Stratoliner, built by California Sidecar. If the cover was 6 inches longer it would be perfect. However, it is new and is on the bike for the first time, and it may stretch a little. Overall, we are very pleased!
Great cover, nice fit but be aware that despite it's %100 waterproof claim, it is NOT waterproof. This cover is "breathable" which means that it has a loose weave thus letting "some" dust and H2O to reach the bike over time. I own several HDs and have this cover for all my bikes. This is more of an indoor or short term cover meaning that you will have to still wash or dust your bike if stored after an extended time or if in dusty conditions like mine. For me there easy to put on, light weight, and not very pricey. Thats why I get them. Happy riding....Moosefart out:)
My trike cover is not 100% WATERPROOF! Mild rain the bike gets wet, not the bike sweating. Good style, ample size, needs radio/CB aerial holes and wish it came in all gray. The sun in the south of USA hammers the trike with excessive heat under the black color in the summer. Lack of being waterproof greatly reduces the value to me.
