Great for short weekend trips

April 13, 2012

I received the bags and found them easy to mount with just a little diligence. They stay put while riding and hold a good amount of cargo or clothes for a weekend trip. The Spirit series has the inserts already installed so there was no fitment problems. They look nice on my 1994 Honda CB1000F and don't interfere with the exhaust. For my use, they are the perfect size and easy to remove from the bike when I reach the hotel. I rarely stay out more than 2-3 days and I always travel light. These are perfect for a trip to The Texas Hill Country from my home in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area. I got them on sale from Dennis Kirk so they were an absolute steal!

I would recommend this item to a friend.

These bags are a good size for sport bikes. Enough room for the basics for an over night trip. The top loading is nice but the zippers catch if you try to pull the strap that connects them together to close the bag all at once. Simple fix. use both hands..one on each zipper. They secure well to my Ninja. Good value for the money.
