Not once was I able to zip either pant leg closed without having the zipper completely and utterly bind on the material adjoining the zipper. The first few times I tried I figured it must be me, but when my wife and I together, moving incredibly slowly, were still unable to draw the zipper its full length without binding on the material alongside the zipper I knew it was time to return the rainsuit. There's no way you'd want to experience this frustration under a bridge during a rainstorm. Question to Nelson-Rigg: Did you guys test the pant leg zippers at all?
I bought this product thinking it would be a good travel rain suit. I travel for work so need something light, bright and durable. I ordered a 4X so I could put it over clothing. When It arrived I put it on over my clothing and guess what........It was TOO SMALL. I then looked at the label to make sure it was a 4X (it was) but then noticed it was made in China. The Crap made in China is never the correct size. If you are going to sell clothing marked 4X MAKE SURE IT"S A 4X. Need less to say I will not be buying anything from you again. I ended up paying too much for a rain suit at the local Harley Dealer.......But the 4X FIT as is should.
Purchased to replace an old set of rain gear. I like the way it is made. The fold over flaps to help prevent rain from getting into pockets and front closure are nice. It is warm but the vents help. They velcro can be frustrating as it's hard to keep it from attaching to other parts of the coat. I like the length of the coat. Took it on a trip few weeks ago. Started out with it on but rain did not develop so removed the gear. I can't say how it does in rain. I found the sleeves to be very long. I am short (5') but they were also long on my husband (5'8"). I did have to order a size up. I could zip jacket but felt with it being a longer jacket it was better to go up a size to be comfortable on the back of the trike.
