The seat is not cushy. It just feels right. The low back rest does stop me from sliding backward (as in the case of the stock seat.) I don't think I would benefit more with the backrest. This saves me some $)
Installing was easy (even a caveman can do it.)
The seat does not move the rider forward nor backward (I remember one of the review stating that it does move the rider about 1-2" forward...)
