Mustang Seats Two-Piece Wide Vintage Seat - 75907

I had one of these on my previous bike, an '02 Vulcan 800A. When I bought that bike, I went to a buddy's house, who saw the seat and said, "Those Mustang seats are worth their weight in gold!" I was skeptical at first. I am not any longer. I would ride that bike 275 miles from Penn State (where I was in graduate school) back to my home (west of Cleveland, OH). I would go to a friend's house (who also had a bike) and he would say, "Let's go for a ride." Even after 5 hours and 275 miles, I would say, "Let's go!" This seat absolutely rules - it looks great, and it feels great. I just wish they weren't $400 or more. But I'll be saving up to put one on my current bike, an '06 Vulcan 1500 Classic. They're a little pricey, but I simply have to have another one. That ought to say it all.

Seats are difficult to purchase because you never know how comfortable they will be and how they may change your riding postion. I ride a v-star 1100 and found that this seat definately changed my riding position. It raises your seat about an inch and moves you forward an inch to two inches. It doesn't seem like a lot but it is. However, it is very comfortable. My wife loves the back seat (thats a real selling point). On a five day trip the but started to hurt on the last day. On my old stock seat it would have been by the end of the first day and downhill from there. It was difficult to fit I really had to push down to get the nut on at the back. If you have throw over saddle bags this may be an issue. I didn't have the greatest saddlebags but I did have to get rigid saddlebags.

The Shipping was super fast and very well packaged. The product was out standing. I got in wreck August 5th and have only rode with new seat a few times but boy let me tell ya sweet ride and my lady loves it. Mommy ain't happy no body is happy....lol....Buy now....lol Cuestick

Have been looking a couple years now for a seat replacement.Settled on the Mustang brand but just couldn't spend the money.When I saw it on DK for that low price could not wait any longer.When you set your old seat next to the Mustang you won't believe the padding comparison.Seat was easy to instal and feels great.Went for a ride the other day ~60miles and had no backside ache unlike my stock seat (Honda VXT 1300) would have.Wife enjoys the comfort of the extra padding alot.

I purchased this seat for my 2007 Vstar 1100. It was so easy to install and it so comfortable. Dennis Kirk had the best price on the market. I would recommend them to anyone

this seat removes tailbone pressure, allowing for longer rides. My wife say's the passenger seat is also more comfortable then the stock seat. The seat fit well, and looks good. Both seats have more paddiing than stock. Drivers seat sits a bit lower, passenger a bit higher, giving the driver a built in backrest. I think the seat is a good investment in comfort. Dennis Kirk had the best price I found on the net and was shipped promptly and received before the promised date. Product and service were very good.

After several hundred miles wife and I both love it. Made a world of difference on my VTX1300

My back always hurt with my stock seat. This new seat feels so great. It supports my lumbar on my back and I ride now pain free.
I should have bought this Mustang seat in the beginning.

The factory seat on my 2006 VTX1300R was very stiff and uncomfortable. I upgraded to the Mustang seat and am very pleased. It was easy to change over and is much more comfortable for me as well as my wife as a passenger.

Love the seat. It took about 10 min. to install. I never really ride for more than one hour at a time so I can't speak on length of seat time. I have about 400 miles in the seat and it's been the best time compared to the stock seat. My brother has also spent some time in both seats (stock & new) and has said WOW what a difference the new seat is!

Ordered the seat after reading other reviews and also from personal testimonies of others who have Mustang seats on their bikes. What a difference in comfort the seat makes. The stock seat began to have me squirming to find a comfortable spot after 75 or 80 miles but I have yet to have any issues with comfort with this seat. The first ride was 250 miles with a couple of stops thrown in but the last leg was 100 miles of freeway and I never had to reposition to find a comfortable spot.

The seat does position you slightly higher and more forward but not enough to be an issue. Installation was a piece of cake taking all of 10 minutes to remove the stock seat, reposition the leads for my battery tender, and then install the new seat.

Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. Best accessory I've added to date. And the service from Dennis Kirk was excellent and the seat arrived on time.

This is my third mustang seat..2 from previous bikes.When it came time to upgrade my butt cushion there was no question as to what brand to go with.Fit is great for the bike and for me....like a soft glove for my butt.My vtx1300r is capable of going cross country without a hitch and now with comfort as well.

I have had this seat on my bike for about 1,000 miles now. It is without a doubt the best purchase I have made for the bike, I can ride for hours without feeling uncomfortable in the seat. It did move me forward a little and being 6'2" I needed to then extend the pegs forward a few inches to be comfortable. For Style I rated it four stars because it does look bulky on the bike, but that is also a big part of what makes it so comfortable. The stitching and the actual seat material are very well made.

Mustang seats are my favorite for cruisers. First upgrade is to get rid of the stock seat! even the upgraded gel seat from the dealer is no match to mustang. After an hour in the saddle you will never ride without one again. even when you buy a new bike, you will want to plan on buying a new seat in the total purchase price.........

I bought this Mustang seat for my Kawasaki Vulcan 800 B. I had the old two up seat that came with it. I'm only 5'6 and chubby. With the old seat I felt like I was riding with no padding at all. I was always moving around on the seat trying to be comfortable. I read all the reviews on this sight.. And decided to give it a try. I like to sit into my bike, I was worried about the seat raising me to high. I got the seat in two days, It came in very nice packing, protected well. I removed my seat.Started to install the Mustang two piece . Everything fit like a glove. But, I had throw over saddle bags that wouldn't let the back seat bolt down to the fender. The bags leather was just thick enough to keep the up to high to start the bolt. I had to take them off. I sat on the bike the fit for me was amazing . Just like it was made for me. The seat feels great, the lumbar support feels very good. But, I forgot that my back rest matched my old seat . Should have ordered one to match. If your looking for a seat for your bike, you should really get this seat, you won't be sorry. Happy trails

I purchased the 76101 Mustang Seat for my VStar. The product arrived in excellent brand new condition. Installation was very easy and the seat fit perfectly for my bike. It looks great and definitely adds class to the overall look of the VStar. The seat is comfortable, but it does push me ahead a bit in my seating position. I'm 6' 4" tall and had previously moved my floorboards and controls ahead a few inches so that helps. I'm looking forward to a longer ride to evaluate better when the weather warms up. On a short 50 mile ride the seat felt great. Very happy with my purchase.

I held off on buying a new seat because I did not want to spend $350 on a seat, but my wife said she had enough with the small passenger seat and I had to get a new one. I looked a long time trying to decide mustang or saddlemen, and went with mustang and Dennis Kirk had the lowest price. Delivery was very quick and we love the seat did not know it would make such a difference. Have only put a couple hundred miles on the seat but wow, it really made a difference and really feels good out of the box with little break in time. If you are on the fence about a new seat this is one to go with.

fit and finish was great, shipped to canada and only took 8or 9 days with canada post.

being that its winter i havent spent much time in the saddle, but it seems like its going to be great.

putting the seat on was a bit snug but with a little effort it bolted right up.

Purchased this seat for my 1600 vulcan classic. Was a little hard to get on the bike but now its on and looks great. Went for a ride with the wife and we both loved it. No more numb butts. Dennis Kirk had the lowest price, I don't know how they do it. Now all I need is the matching passenger backrest.

The seat looks great on the vtxr and is very comfortable for myself and the passenger. I added the large sissybar pad also.

This is an excellent replacement to the OEM seat.
I would highly recommend this.

Love this seat very good value for the money. It was an easy install fit good. Now we can ride a lot longer. If you are looking for a nice seat try this one.

I installed this on my 06 C50. It fit perfectly and is great quality. I can ride for hours now, and the wife says she loves the passenger too. My only gripes are that this seat has much more foam and support that the factory seat, therefore, it moves you about an inch forward and an inch higher. I am always looking for MORE room as I am tall. I love this seat, but I do wish it kept you the same distance from the handlebars, or farther back and closer to the ground.

This is a nice looking and very comfortable seat .I did a 700 mile weekend of riding and I felt fine the whole time .Have good reviews from my passenger as well.Looking sorward to many miles of comfort

Haven't had much time to ride since installing the seat but so far I find it more comfortable and I am sure my wife will also. It fit perfectly and looks great. Appreciate the extra lumbar support without the need for a back rest.

I would never buy anything other than mustang. I just sold my 99 Marauder that I put a mustang on and got a new Boulevard. After one ride I knew that the stock seat had to go and I bought this seat. Best, and first, purchase I ever make with any bike.

Purchased this recently for my V Star since the stock seats were less than comfortable. Dennis Kirk had the lowest prices on this seat by $100.00, plus I had free shipping. The seat itself is awesome, and 5 stars for comfort do not do it justice; I wish I could give it a rating of at least 10. Replaced the stock seat on a kawa vulcan 1500D. What a difference!! Super easy installation. No problem with the front lip as others have had. Looks great and feels good even after extended rides.

After trying different things to make my wife comfy on long trips I finally decided to spend the extra money and do it right. Buying the Mustang seat was the best thing I did! Well worth the money. Extremely comfortable for her and myself. The old pillion seat is a thing of the past...wish I had done this sooner. The seat makes me sit up straighter taking away the pressure on my tail bone...no longer sore...or numb. The same goes for my favorite passenger. I highly recommend a Mustang seat for anyone who owns a bike.

What a difference from the stock seat. It is like night and day. The stock seat was fine, but after an hour in the saddle, you could definitely feel it. My wife could not even last an hour on the back. Now, we can ride all day, only having to stop for gas. The back support is great. For me, the only minor drawback was that it raised the seat ever so slightly, but enough to bring one heel off the ground when stopped. That said, I would not trade this seat for the world. Actually gives me a reason to lower the bike just a bit. I also got the best price by far here at Dennis Kirk.

Bought for my V-Star 1100 Custom. Wife loves it!! No more sore butt or back. I like my predator seat better for myself but mustang is good too.

All I have to say is WOW! What an improvement over the stock seat! The day I bolted it on, I rode for two hours without getting uncomfortable. Bolted right onto my 2001 Vulcan 1500 Classic in a snap. It took me longer to find my ratchet than it did to install the seat and pillion pad. My girl loves the pillion pad, it's much more plush and wider than the original. It's great to actually sit IN a seat as opposed to on it. Fits my keester like a glove. Lets my legs breathe and doesn't affect circulation, so they don't go numb after half an hour. BUY THIS SEAT!

1100 VSTAR seat is comfortable, however as stated in other reviews it does move the driver forward and down. Which makes me wish my forward controls were further forward. However the reason I bought the seat was for my wife as the stock seat was very uncomfortable for her. She is extremely happy with the new seat and allows us to ride for a much longer time.
