Put this on my '14 Street Glide and it is so much better than the stock seat. Not only does it get my 5' 8" frame closer to the ground but it is very comfortable. Way more lower back support, even without the driver backrest. Wife likes the wider pillion seat also. Mustang quality is the best.
I am 5'8 tall. I bought a 2012 Road king Classic. The new low down seat was a great decision. I did my homework and read the reviews. Now I have total control with both feet planted firmly to the ground. I feel I have better reach and able to control the bike better. My wife loves the wider then stock passanger seat. Read the reviews that match your height, may not be for taller people. Well made product. Way to go Mustang! The back rest is better then stock when it comes to adjusting up and down and forward and back.(no allen key needed). Best price was at Dennis Kirk...
Mustang seats are a good product, but this seat didn't do what I was hoping for. I went on about a 400 mile road trip and decided it wasn't for me. I'm a female rider and I am tall (5' 10") but I have short legs, I'm all torso. So I didn't need to be pushed forward, only lowered. It didn't lower me much and I felt like I was riding on the gas tank. This seat would probably work for a short person. It also had gripping material which made it difficult to adjust in the seat, I had to stand on my floorboards to reposition.
Dennis Kirk delivered seat fast, sat on it, wife said it was ok, but at the end of the day she was uncomfortable. My stock seat 2015 FLHR is more comfortable, and still lets me sit lower. I'm going to try Drag Specialties seat 45-9470.
