Mustang Seats LowDown™ Vintage Solo Seat - 76078

Riders asked-Mustang listened. Now solo riders can be lower on their 2009 and later FL Touring without compromising long-distance comfort.

  • The LowDown™ Solo's 13 in. wide bucket is shaped and angled for optimal touring posture on the go, but it also drops you from stock position, and is cut narrow at the front, so you can plant your feet firmly on the ground at a stop.
  • Pair it with a Mustang passenger seat if you want company, or run it solo to go it alone.
  • Comes with our mini-bib 495195 for a complete custom look and includes our 271920 slotted mounting nuts.


NOTE: Will not fit 2008 or earlier models.

I am 5'4" & have a 2016 Street Glide Special. I understand this seat will lower me about 1"...does it also bring you forward? If so, how much?

BEST ANSWER: It will push you forward about two inches. I have a 2014 Roadking. It had a low seat originally so it didn't really drop me down any. I'm also 5'-4. I lowered the front and rear of the bike. I put the reach bars on also. They didn't help at all. I'm going to have a custom handlebar made to get the bars back to me. Good luck.

BEST ANSWER: I would say no, Factory passenger seat is attached to the orig seat. This is a solo seat.

Very comfortable Low Solo Seat
I have had my new seat for about a month now. Put about 750 miles on it with trips ranging from 50-150 miles each. All trips done in comfort. The seat keeps me up closer to the controls which is good for me as I am 5' 5 1/2" on my Street Glide. The narrow front neck makes it much easier to stand and keep feet planted on ground. Good lower back support. Seat is good looking, excellent fit and finish. I am happy with my purchase.
