lasted me 2.5 years

April 25, 2013

My friend and I got these in Nov 2010. We had one helmet stickon mic not work. They sent one immeadiatly. This summer I bought a new push-to-talk button as the connector was starting to frey( i think I caught it on something and it was pulled too hard). We ride tight trails on dirtbikes. I have crashed a few times, I feel we ride pretty hard. I'm pretty satisfied with the radios. For 115.00. Thats a great deal. The kit includes 2 push-to talk buttons. Your choice- on the handlebar or on your finger. Also 2 different mics. A stick on, or a boom type thats come from the right speaker. The equipment is not heavy duty, but we've made em last for near 30 hard days riding now. They are great to let your partner know abot hazards, or to find eachother if you get separated, if the one in back crashes. Its nice not to have to stop at every trailhead to discuss where to go next. Ray Delgado 4/25/13

bad investment

I put two of these radios on my two 4 wheelers. the harness is to heavy and bulky and and didn't stand up to trail riding. we used them for one weekend before they failed. one of the radios quit working and both wire harnesses failed. Also you don't get what the picture shows, the radios are Cobras and there is no charging stand. the battery charger that came with the kit doesn't work on the radio they supply.

I wouldn't recommend this item to a friend.
