Good but best for shorter stiff springs
The spring compressor is a good concept, however in my case where I used it on Yamaha Viking rear springs the springs had a lot of extension I will call it and the part that connects the compressor to the shock ends up bottoming our on the spring and no more tension can be released. Then you have to beat the pin out and hope not to get hurt.

Will Not work on Harley XG750A springs
Did not work on my Harley springs as the mechanism that compresses the springs would not reach the spring coils. Ended up being a waste of money.
