I love that it isn't bulky, but still keeps me VERY warm. It's rated to -20 degrees F. Looks like it'll be comfy when it gets warmer out too. Appears to be very well-made, so hopefully it'll withstand the test of time. Lots of reflective mat'l, but no elbow or shoulder padding. I bought an XL, and may have been able to get away with a L. It definitly runs a little long (sleeves and waist) and big.
LOVE the fleece type mat'l around the wrist and neck. very comfy. Wrist cuffs opoen WAY up to fit big gloves through, and still have lots of velcro to be able to close over my little girly-man wrists.
Only real gripe is the snaps on the zipper flap. Kinda cumbersome to do when all suited up. At leasted they're plastic? coated so they won't scratch anything.
Yes, I'm in SC and bought a snowmobile jacket. I ride my motorcycle year-round, including below freezing temps. 80 mph gets mighty chilly when it is 20 degrees outside, and the motorcycle specific jackets are just too expensive!
This jacket performs very well on my winter rides on my motorcycle.Combine this mossi SX-3 jacket with some mossi sx pants and you will enjoy any winter ride on whatever vehicle you have! PS the price is great
