my experience with this moose truing stand
For what it's worth- I think the stand is well thought out, the quality is good, its heavy duty BUT the only major issue I had was that the arm bases were not drilled correctly and the pointers are off. With my wheel in place it sat sideways on the stand. I first switched the arms around hoping it would help but the bases screw into the bottom plate/threaded so I had to drill out each base hole to have enough play in the bases to somewhat align them. I shouldn't have had to do that and if I wasn't capable then I would have had to live with it because I am not the type of person to return things. I bought it because I needed it and didn't want to wait anymore. I am also not a professional, just a back yard mechanic trying to fix a toy that I have owned for years and know that I this stand is handy to have so I finally bought one.
