Love my hitch, was a pit of a pain to put in. Followed directions to the T, but still had problem getting to fight just right. I used lock tight on the bolts when I put them back in so have had not problems with it coming lose at all.
Taking apart the frame was not an option for me with a new ATV and the review that I had read after purchasing the hitch stated that the screws come loose. AGAIN not an option I was willing to go with.
One of my favorite mods I have done to my '11 Renegade 800R so far. Easy install and great fitment. How do you keep someone from taking your pricey truck receiver hitch? Take it with you when you hit the trail!! Polaris guys envy this add on. Ohh and don't forget to order your ODI locking grips!
excellent product. Had to drill a 3" hole in the hitch so I could access the rear differential fill plug. We have a lot of mud and water here in southeast Texas as I know you do in Minnesota. Maybe I service and check my stuff more than normal. I thought it was an oversite that you did not provide for access to this most important item. However they were perfect for our 2008 and 2015 Kawasaki 750 Brute Force ATV's.
Great product. Love not having to change out the ball or shackle all the time. I can leave the clevis hook in, and switch out receivers whenever. The only problem I had with it, is one of the mounting holes didn't line up just right. But that's nothing a 5/8inch drill bit can't fix. Otherwise the product went on easily.
Good quality, but poorly designed. Center of receiver is 22" off the ground. Way too high to be useful on an ATV. Don't bother with this one, it will just cost you $16 shipping by the time you return it.
