Pipe Guard on KDX 200
I put this Pipe Guard on my 2002 KDX 200. Not as bad to install as some say, at lease not for me. It took about an hour to form it to my liking. The material is quite thick. But the way I bent it was to use two 2x4s, 1 1/2 dowel and a dead blow mallet. Lay the guard across the two 2x4s. Use the dowel like a punch and hit it with the mallet. Take your time and keep checking the fit. If you can't understand what I'm saying, you probably have no business on a motorcycle.

Will this fit my ktm 150 XCW (2017) ?

BEST ANSWER: Hi, yes these are designed to be a universal fit for all 2 strokes. When you receive the pipe guard it will be a straight uncurved piece. I have found the easiest installation method is to use the supplied clamps and mount the guard to the pipe around mid length and then curve one end back towards the cylinder and the other end up the expansion chamber. It takes some time and muscle to work it into shape as the guard is heavy duty but the results are worth the effort. A rubber mallet and large set of vice grips are also handy to help shape the guard. Once you have it close to fitting the clamps will draw it into the pipe nice and snug. Takes a little patience but like I said, well worth the effort. It's a high quality guard and provides excellent protection for your pipe. Hope this helps, Mark
