These boots are much thicker than stock Honda boots, this means OEM band clamps will no longer work. Make sure you have a Moose band tightener. Once a Moose band is installed, they can't be re-used, so make sure you have all bands in place before you start tightening bands. If you don't use one of the tighteners the bands are too loose to stay in place. Personally the Honda OEM bands are easier to work with & can be re-used. The Moose boots & bands are heavier than stock, so I am assuming they will be more durable. If you never see another boot review from me, you will know they are very good, I have averaged a Honda boot about once a year for the last 10 years.
The boots and grease were perfect. The bands that came with the boots require a special tool (purchased separately) to pinch them tight. I was lucky and was able to reuse my old bands so I didn't have to buy the tool.
replace OEM rear boot with this one, exact fit good grade rubber and metal clamps. I also bought the band tool since i'm sure i will have to replace more boots in the future and it was very easy to use.
