The coverage of Moose Racing's Contour deflector mounted on a T6061 aluminum bracket that supports an open-ended polypropylene rail that gives the support you need yet still flexes back under an impact
Spring-loaded aluminum hinge enables the deflector to pivot forward along with your folding levers in the event of a fall, but holds in place while blocking debris from other machines
I ordered a set of these for my sled, and i just got them today, i opened them and i couldn't believe that they are as nice as they are. The mounts are really nice, thick billet aluminum and they look great. the guards themselves are nice as well, but the mounts are what took me by surprise. my buddy had a set of rox powermadd guards on his and the mounts are little and the bar-clamp looks like a piece of sheet metal wrapped around the handlebar. Im very impressed with these and can't wait to get them on the sled.
I put these on my Vstrom 1000 when I replaced the bars with a Tag CR Low taper. With a little bit of adjustment the Moose handguards give me a great look with a nice bit of ventilation for warm days. Without bar risers the Vstrom's fairing would interfere with locking the bike.
Bought these for my Polaris RMK 800, they are very nice guards, sturdy mounting brackets, great looking design, the only issue was to get them to extend as far as my handlebars, but with some very slight modifications they fit well, would recommend these guards!
i bought these handguards ohh last month and they have worked great on the track and my hands havent gotten all cut up from the rocks but i have laid it over and they just bent like they were supposed to and they are the best thing i have purchased for my bike Definitely get them to match your bike they look and work great =P
Nice guards for the money but might need altering.
The mounts are quality. Machined aluminum that bolts on well. The only issue I had was trying to get the guards to extend as far as my handlebar. Due to where my throttle and brake controls are located on my 2001 Arctic Cat ZR 600 EFI, I had to mount the guards on the inside of the controls, not right next to the grips. Then I had to drill new mounting holes in the plastic rail that connects to the mounting brackets in order to get them to fit properly. They are nice guards otherwise, just could have been designed with my type of set-up in mind.
