Rack review
Product it's self is good quality but,I was installing on brand new 2017 Bike and you want (I) want a properly installed/Safe and secure unit on my bike ,which is also not going to damage my new bike or any of its other parts down the road after installation .A little back ground on myself,a garage rat from when I started walking,Asa certified car and truck tech for 37 yrs, also did 10 yrs as service Manager at salt water location on Hatteras Island,NC where I also became a master certified outboard tech for Yamaha,Suzuki,Nissan/Tihutsu outboards, I am now in my last career ,as an over the road 18 Wheeler Truck driver and drive a 2017 International Pro star Over the Rd Class 8 Truck every day,so I was born with wrenches in my hands and grease under my nails!! It's a good thing, because the directions for install on this product SUCK to put it nicely, they give U some new hardware to use but,in order to properly install U need to mix/match some of the original hardware with new,it's not clear and some statements are plain wrong in order to end up with properly install, safe, secure, none damaging install in the end, leaving a possible liability issue!!! If this was sold to an average person for install on their bike, there is no way they would end up with proper/Safe install in the end with these directions sent with the product!!! I ended up spending 3 Hrs mixing/matching the Correct combination of hardware in order to get proper/Correct/Safe product in the end, this is a big downfall with this Product! Thanks for Your time Gene
