As sone as the bike hit my garage from the shop. i mounted these gaurds. I won't ride without them. they are real life savers and money savers. I,ve bashed my bars against many trees and just keep on going with not getting hurt or damaging the levers. Very strong material. No complaints what so ever.I keep a spare set on my work bench.just in case or maybe lone to a friend who doesn't have em.All the mounting goes so smoothly.
These bark busters were a direct fit on my Renthal handlebars (see title for bars) for my supermoto. You have to move some of the controls around a bit and cut off the end of the throttle tube but thats well worth having the protection and nothing is made uncomfortable to use. If you have a supermoto then you need these handguards. Fair warning, do your research before you purchace so that you have a good idea that they will fit. Buy them!
Great busters but may need some trial and error for proper fitment.
Recently started putting "Bark Busters" on all my bike. Have tried a few different brands such as Tusk and Power Madd, so far the Tusk kit is my favorite. This Moose kit is great though. I have a 1989 YZ250wr with aftermarket Renthal bars. These were pretty hard to fit to those bars and had very little room to adjust them to get around the throttle tube and front brake reservoir. I love the look of these though.
Unfortunately, the clamps for these handguards are obstructed by the crossbar on my TW200. I'm running the stock bars, and have no urge to change them (as the bend is apparently perfect for me). Since I have to suffer a $7.99 charge to return them, they weren't a very good value for me. Nonetheless, they are quality parts... just watch out for fit issues.
